Goodbye to Corporate America Log - Day 11
Email to a friend
11 days after I said goodbye to corporate america. I started my day at 7:00 a.m. I visualized. Went to the gym and had a very productive day writing and working intensively on EdithYeung.com.
At around 6:00 p.m., I drove my little yellow beetles towards Telegraph Hill to attend a fund raising committee meeting for Pathway for Kids. This is the first time I get involved with this organization. I really like the idea and am very supportive of its mission - to connect at risk, economically disadvantaged youth with volunteer mentors or “Coaches”, who have achieved success in a wide variety of businesses and professions, to inspire academic achievement and career awareness. This is absolutely a perfect match with my friend Andrezj’s idea for YoungsterInc. So I invited Andrezj’s as well. J
The meeting had a great turn out! The organizer Alf did a great job. Everyone from all industries and expertise were there. Our goal is to raise $200,000 for Pathway for Kids and I know we can do it!
