I Have Confidence
As I was running this morning, for some reason the song “I Have Confidence” came to mind. This song is from one of my favorite movies of all time, The Sound of Music.
Maria sings this song on her way to The Von Trapp family, on her way to her new life. She’s anxious and excited at the same time. She doubts she has enough courage to face the new challenge. She tells herself that she must dream of the things that she is seeking. She tells herself strength lays within her, and that she must wake up and stop all the doubts and worries.
This is an ultimate song of confidence and positive self talk. I want to share the lyrics with you, as I believe many of you can relate and hope that you find inspiration, joy, and of course confidence in these words.

Wow! Thanks for a great post. It’s amazing how timely this was for me. I recently took a huge risk to pursue my dreams and found myself feeling much like Julie Andrews does as the beginning of this song. Your post made (and watching the video) made me realize that I have enough talent and confidence to achieve what I have set out to achieve.
