If a Seven-Year-Old Can Do It, You Can Do It Too!
I met a very special little girl in Dallas earlier this week when I was down there for a business trip.
Her name is Sami. She is only seven year old. She is an author, a great sales person and she even know how to operate a credit card machine!
I was impressed.
In October 2007, just one month shy of her 7th birthday, Sami decided that she wanted to create something special instead of receiving personal birthday gifts. She asked for her friends and family to donate coloring books and crayons to the children at St. Jude’s Research hospital in honor of her birthday. She named her endeavor “Color Decorate the World”. Her simple act of giving brought St. Jude hospital boxes filled with arts and crafts supplies from all over the country for the children which also inspired her to write this book.
Since Sami released her new book in December 2007, she has been everywhere:

Sami’s lifelong promise is to make the world a better place for everyone. This really makes me think… what is my promise to the world?
