My Very First… Magazine

Wow…My very first magazine - SFentrepreneur magazine!

I am very excited to bring the community the very first edition of SFentrepreneur magazine. This magazine carries the same goal as the online community, SFentrepreneur.com, which is to inspire, connect and engage entrepreneurs to learn, grow and make this world a better place.

The inaugural edition includes articles featuring inspiring entrepreneurs including Chip Conley (Founder &
CEO of Joie De Vivre hotels), Matt Mullenweg (Founding Developer of Wordpress, one of the most popular blog publishing platforms), Terry Hird (Founder of Negotiation-International) and 2008 SFentrepreneur Challenge Winner – Axel Schultze. It also includes a number of practical tips on two challenges almost every business owner encounters at some point, how to raise money and how to do email marketing effectively.

Why this Magazine? Why not?
The opportunity to produce our own magazine arose in mid-July when we started planning our HP Labs Tour for SFentrepreneur. HP Labs was interested in finding entrepreneurs to help test their new “MagCloud” technology for print-on-demand and offered us support to make it happen.

In true entrepreneurial spirit I thought, why not?

As entrepreneurs, we go after what truly resonate with us, we do things that we love and we give our all to
make it happen. I am a true believer in taking control of one’s destiny and going after what may seem to be the impossible. In this case it is this magazine.

What inspired me?
Every day I receive inspiring emails from people like you whom have taken the leap into entrepreneurship. Those e-mails fuel me to do more. I believe entrepreneurs like you, are among the most creative and motivated people on earth.

I know together we can create a world of peace, health and economical independence through the power of entrepreneurship.
