I used to live 5 minutes from this road in Wanchai Hong Kong. A place packed full with cars, people and noise.
Technically, I really should not call Hong Kong home anymore as I haven’t really lived there for over 15 years… ya… I have been away for almost 15 years now (since Friday August 13rd 1993).
Where is home?
Someplace where you loved ones live?
Someplace where you used to grow up?
Someplace where you make a living?
Someplace where you want to settle for the rest of your life?
As a traveler all my life, I never feel like I am home. Yep - not even San Francisco. For the longest time, I didn’t even own any furniture. Just in case I needed to move again, I slept on inflatable bed and sit on inflatable sofa for a few years.
Now that I am “older”, I realize home really can be anywhere or everywhere. See…There is no one person, situation, or job can make you call a place home.
As long as your heart is at peace, you are home. And it can happen anywhere and anytime.
